Professional Staff Services

Document Delivery: We provide interlibrary loans (ILL) of library materials and journal articles to all hospital medical staff and employees.

Literature Searching: The library staff will perform literature searches for any hospital staff member.

Table of Contents Service: This service is available to professional staff and other administrative personnel. You may select journal titles from the current periodical holdings list, and when a new issue of your selected title arrives, you will be sent a copy of the table of contents.

Current Awareness: Once a professional staff and other administrative personnel identify a need, the library supplies pertinent material on a routine basis.

Literature Attached to Patient Charts (LATCH): The Medical Library attaches literature to the charts of patients for whom it has been requested. The purpose is to provide, at the bedside, some of the fundamental information which may be useful to the house staff and others who are caring for the patient.
